The Pregnancy News !!!

My son is 2 and a half months old but I can still clearly remember the day my husband & I found out I was pregnant..
We had been trying for a month & I just had a gut feeling that I would get pregnant the next month. Rightfully when I took a home pregnancy test, I saw those 2 beautiful lines. I called out to my husband & showed him the stick. The poor guy was in so much shock he just stood there holding it in his hand.. Not the reaction I expected but who can blame the poor guy..
He placed the stick down n hugged me so tight. We both started crying..
Crying because we knew that our lives would change forever. Crying because we knew things would never be the same again!! This was HUGE.. And we couldn't ask for anything more.

When we broke the news to our families (separately), my mom cried louder than me.. I guess it was a new chapter in their lives too. Being grandparents is the second best thing after being parents. There's no bigger joy than when a grandparent holds their grandchild in their arms.
I'm happy my son has his grandparents. Its important because they will teach him things we might not know & he will always remember his grampy & grammy..

Its a new journey & we all are loving the road so far !!!!

Welcome To Newborn Mommie

Hello Blogosphere. This is my first blog so please be kind.. :-)

Im sure some of you are wondering why i chose the name of my blog as "Newborn Mommie".. Well, I didn't have a choice, this was the only thing I could think of that was available.. Just kidding..

"Newborn Mommie" is created because just like a baby who comes into this world is called a Newborn, similarly, me being a first-time mom has given birth to a new me.. Hence, "Newborn Mommie".

Through this blog I hope to share my experiences of motherhood, home remedies for pre-natal & post-natal ailments & other stuff that will help first-time mommies like me through this wonderful new role, "MOTHERHOOD"!!
